Description
The WPeMatico RSS Feed Fetcher plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery via campaign feed addresses in all versions up to, and including, 2.9.1, due to the internal-address check resolving only the IPv4 (A) records of a feed host. A host whose AAAA record points to a loopback or private IPv6 address passes the check, and the HTTP client still connects to that address when the campaign runs or is run manually. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to make web requests to arbitrary locations originating from the web application, which can be used to query and modify information from internal services.
