Description
The WP Encryption – One Click SSL / HTTPS & Free SSL Certificate, HTTPS Redirect, Security plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure via the wple_passkey_login_options AJAX action in all versions up to, and including, 7.8.8.2, due to the endpoint looking up a submitted username or email address and returning that user's registered passkey credential IDs in its response. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to find out which usernames or email addresses belong to accounts with registered passkeys, and to obtain those accounts' passkey credential IDs.
