Description

The Broadcast Live Video – Live Streaming : WebRTC, HLS, RTSP, RTMP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'id' attribute of the videowhisper_channels shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 7.3.14, due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The attribute value is placed into JavaScript variable and function names inside an inline script, and esc_attr()/esc_js() do not stop JavaScript syntax in that position. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
