Description

The WP Photo Album Plus plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'searchroot' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 9.3.06.001 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The search root value is taken from the request, stored in the visitor's session, and concatenated unescaped into an inline JavaScript call used to update the search boxes. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
