Description
The Strong Testimonials plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the testimonial_view shortcode's attributes in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.15, due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. User-supplied shortcode attributes could override the internal 'view_not_found' flag, so a view that failed validation was still rendered with an attacker-controlled 'view' value. In slideshow mode that value was concatenated unescaped into a JavaScript variable name printed in an inline script. The 'thumbnail_width' and 'thumbnail_height' attributes were also placed unescaped into image tag attributes for imported review thumbnails. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
