Description

The Media Library Assistant plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via attributes of its shortcodes, including mla_gallery, mla_custom_list, mla_archive_list and mla_term_list, in all versions up to, and including, 3.43. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of values such as the 'unit' attribute, 'mla_nolink_text' (sanitized before template substitution rather than after), meta values, labels and term names. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
